I am passionate about the creative and collaborative genius of human beings. As Applied AI leader, my goal is make work more fun and effective for the people who do it.I have previous experience working on digital strategy and analytics for various multinational companies including GE, Jaguar Land Rover and Pentland Brands. I hope to contribute to a future where automation and AI free us from mundane tasks and help us focus on learning, self-actualization, and making a positive impact on the world around us.

Donal’s experience

Donal is passionate about helping businesses make sense of data and technology, turning complex information into actionable insights. With a strong background in digital experience data—covering web analytics, CRM, and large-scale cloud data—he’s also well-versed in platforms likeGoogle Cloud and Azure Machine Learning. Donal uses R and Python to transform, analyse, and visualise data and is a certified Google BigQuery developer. He has experience working with various specialist libraries, including PyTorch, spaCy, NLTK, Hugging Face, and cutting-edge models like OpenAI's GPT-3, GPT-4 and beyond.

Donal’s contribution to establishing a new Applied AI function at Cytiva, a leading Life Sciences company,  provided him with valuable experience in driving innovation and transformation with AI.
